Choral Directing

With this social justice focused community chorus, Hannah conducts and leads rehearsals of the growing ensemble of 180+ LQBTQIA+ and allied people. Duties also include holding auditions, selecting repertoire in collaboration with the Music Advisory Committee, and managing the chorus by working with with the Board of directors and volunteer committees. In this role, she has led the ensemble in a variety of performances, including concerts, community events, and collaborations with other local arts organizations. Hannah's leadership has been instrumental in expanding the choir's repertoire, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for singers of all backgrounds, and engaging with the broader Denver community through music. Having held leadership roles since 2024, she began as Permanent Artistic Director in August of 2026.

Vocalist and cantor in small four voice professional ensemble as well as full church choral ensemble. Lead full church choral rehearsals on an as-needed substitute basis under the direction of Dr. Kevin Padworski.

Organize, direct, and conduct scene from La Liberazione di Ruggiero by Francesca Caccini and other works by Guillame DuFay and Guillame de Machaut for Lamont School of Music’s Centenary celebration concert.

Lead, arrange music for, and sing with 18-voice select pop a cappella ensemble “Take Note!”, small group ensemble under the umbrella of Denver Feminist Chorus. Organize assorted outreach performances around the Denver area and surrounding cities.

Choral conducting graduate teaching assistant and alto section leader in advanced SATB ensemble composed of majority graduate vocal performance students at the University of Denver under the direction of Dr. Catherine Sailer as well as treble ensemble under the direction of Dr. Kevin Padworski. Conduct select songs in rehearsal and performance as well as lead sectional rehearsals on all music.

Conduct and lead rehearsals and concerts of adult community choir ensemble. Work in collaboration with the Board of Directors as well as committees to select music, organize performance and marketing opportunities, and handle social media. Traveled to Minneapolis Summer 2024 for GALA (Gay and Lesbian Association of Choirs) to perform in the festival.

Teach and conduct 6th-8th grade Chorus and Music Exploration classes at International Baccalaureate: Middle Years Programme school. Music Director of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory December -February 2020. Director of KMS Scorpion Chorus Club. Applied for and received Tempe School Arts Grants every year from 2019-2023.

Led singers age 4-12 in scripture-focused singing and play. Singers sang in worship service quarterly, and met weekly.
